Key Responsibilities:-
Licensing, Qualifications & Regulatory Compliance
  • Maintain all required personal licenses, ratings, instructor privileges, and medical fitness (as applicable) to perform designated duties.
  • Verify that all regulatory approvals issued by the relevant Authority are valid prior to conducting any training that requires those privileges.
  • Adhere to CAE/ECFT policies, procedures, and safety standards during all training activities.
  • Comply with Authority‑approved training program requirements and ensure all instructional delivery aligns with approved content, procedures, and standards.
Briefing & Debriefing
  • Conduct comprehensive simulator briefings and training sessions in a clear, structured, and positive manner to maximize trainee learning and performance.
  • Document any deviations from SOPs, required procedures, or maneuvers, and review these thoroughly with the trainee during debriefings.
Training Delivery
  • Review the client’s Training and Checking Authorization form prior to commencing any training session.
  • Deliver high‑quality simulator instruction on assigned aircraft type(s), typically involving four or more simulator hours per session (excluding briefing and debriefing).
  • Conduct detailed pre‑ and post‑flight simulator briefings in a professional and supportive manner.
  • Deliver classroom instruction using various training platforms such as Simfinity, CBT, IPT, or traditional lectures, requiring periods of up to 8–10 hours of standing and/or sitting.
  • Support curriculum and device development (simulators, FTDs, FMS trainers) when assigned, including evaluation, validation, and certification activities.
  • If assigned to ground school duties, obtain and maintain FAA/EASA ground school and simulator instructor qualifications within approximately 12 months.
  • Acquire examiner qualifications and perform examiner duties under the applicable authority, when designated.
  • Provide seat support and instructional assistance as required during training operations.
  • Maintain accurate training records, identify trainee performance gaps, and recommend remedial training when necessary.
  • Track and manage personal instructional currency and qualification requirements.
  • Prepare and inspect classrooms, training facilities, and instructional equipment prior to each training day.
  • Assess trainee readiness and recommend candidates for licensing checks based on performance and regulatory criteria.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for curriculum and courseware development, review, and enhancement when assigned.
  • Deliver MCC instruction for stand‑alone MCC programs and multi‑pilot operational training on single‑pilot, high‑performance complex aircraft (SPHPCA), in accordance with instructor certification and qualifications.


Requirements


  • BD700 Type Rating (Global Express / Global 5000 / 6000 / 6500)preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience as a TRI/TRE, Simulator Instructor, or training role within an ATO or simulator training center.-— preferred but not required.
  • Flying Hours 6000
  • Experience delivering EASA, FAA, Transport Canada, or GCAA training programs.
  • Knowledge or experience with advanced training methodologies (EBT, AQP, MPL, MCC).
  • Familiarity with Simfinity, CBT, IPT, and full‑flight simulator environments.
  • Experience supporting curriculum development, courseware creation, or device evaluations.
