We are currently supporting a leading international media and technology firm in their search for a Finance Manager to join their team in Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of the full finance function, driving reporting accuracy, cross-border compliance, and strategic financial planning in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Description


Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactionsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations and internal policiesLead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-makingPrepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal liquidity and financial planningPerform cross-country consolidation of financial statements for accurate multi-jurisdictional reportingMonitor and manage intercompany transactions, ensuring proper reconciliations and balanced reportingAnalyze financial performance and variances to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesCoordinate with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process and timely resolution of audit queriesOversee and ensure accurate VAT return filings in accordance with UAE regulationsMaintain strong relationships with banks, managing facilities and ensuring documentation accuracySupervise and mentor a junior finance team, driving development and accountability


Profile
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldApproximately 5 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting roleProfessional qualification CA is highly preferredPrior UAE experience is highly desirableStrong understanding of accounting standards, VAT regulations, and financial controlsProficiency in financial software such as ERP systems and advanced Excel skillsExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilitiesProven leadership experience and a track record of managing junior finance staff
