Role Overview


We are seeking a  Manager with strong experience in event sponsorship and sales management to lead the commercial development of a new event taking place in England. The role is based in Dubai and focuses on securing sponsors and partners, while ensuring all sales, marketing, and communication activities support the events commercial objectives and audience growth.


This role combines project management, sponsorship sales, and content leadership. The successful candidate will be hands-on, commercially driven, and comfortable working across teams and geographies to deliver strong value propositions for sponsors and a consistent brand message for audiences.


Key Responsibilities


Sponsorship & Commercial Development


  • Develop and execute the sponsorship strategy to secure partners and sponsors for the UK event by the end of the year.
  • Identify, approach, and manage relationships with potential sponsors, exhibitors, and partners, both regionally and internationally.
  • Create tailored sponsorship packages and high-value propositions aligned with sponsor objectives.
  • Lead sponsorship sales negotiations and close agreements.
  • Manage sponsor relationships before, during, and after the event to ensure delivery of agreed benefits.

Project & Event Management


  • Plan and manage sponsorship-related timelines, deliverables, and budgets from the Dubai office.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and UK-based suppliers to ensure sponsor commitments are integrated into the event program and marketing plan.
  • Track progress against commercial targets and provide regular performance updates to stakeholders.

Content & Sales Materials


  • Create high-quality, client- and audience-focused content that strengthens brand presence and supports sponsor engagement.
  • Produce and oversee sales decks, sponsorship proposals, partnership presentations, and commercial collateral.
  • Ensure all sales and sponsor-facing materials clearly communicate the events value, positioning, and audience reach.

Marketing & Communication Collaboration


  • Work closely with the Program, Marketing & Communication teams to ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all channels.
  • Take an active role in the marketing drive to ensure the overall communication campaign is aligned with the conferences commercial objectives.
  • Support campaigns that drive sponsor visibility, audience engagement, and event participation.

Required Experience & Skills


  • Proven experience in sponsorship sales management within the events industry.
  • Strong track record of securing sponsors and commercial partners.
  • Experience managing projects across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Strong content creation skills with a focus on sales and sponsor engagement.
  • Ability to develop clear, persuasive value propositions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience working closely with marketing and communication teams.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience working on conferences, summits, or large-scale events in the UK or internationally.
  • Established network of corporate sponsors or partners.
  • Understanding of international event marketing and commercial strategy.
