To operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all electrical, electronic, and control systems onboard the dredger.
To ensure safe and efficient functioning of dredging equipment, including pumps, motors, winches, and auxiliary systems.
To monitor and maintain power generation and distribution systems, including switchboards and protection devices.
To carry out planned maintenance system (PMS) tasks as per schedule and report completion status.
To assist in fault finding and rectification of electrical and automation systems to minimize downtime.
To support operation and maintenance of PLC, SCADA, and instrumentation systems used in dredging processes.
To ensure compliance with safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and company HSE policies.
To maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, and electrical spare parts inventory.
To assist in troubleshooting variable frequency drives (VFDs) and motor control systems.
To coordinate with Chief Engineer and Senior ETO for smooth vessel operations.
To participate in dry dock activities, inspections, and testing of electrical equipment.
To follow class, flag state, and international maritime regulations related to electrical systems.
To work effectively in a team environment and adapt to offshore working conditions.
To continuously upgrade technical knowledge and skills related to marine electrical and automation systems.
Bachelor's degree in electrical & Electronics.
STCW certification & ETO license.
3-5 Years experience onboard Dredger.
