The Estimator for Infrastructure Projects will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and managing the project budget from inception to completion. This role will also involve overseeing the procurement of materials and services, as well as ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the civil engineering and construction industry, with a strong background in quantity surveying and estimating for infrastructure projects in the UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for infrastructure projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.

• Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring that costs are managed within agreed-upon parameters.

• Conduct site visits and liaise with project managers to monitor progress and identify potential cost issues.

• Track and report on project costs, providing regular updates to project stakeholders.

• Prepare and submit progress claims and variations in accordance with contract terms.

• Provide support and guidance to junior quantity surveyors and estimators.

• Develop relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services.


Requirements Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor and Estimator, with a focus on infrastructure projects.

• Strong knowledge of pricing, contracts, and procurement processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Proficiency in relevant software such as MS Excel, AutoCAD, and cost estimating software.

• Proven track record of successfully managing project budgets and delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Knowledge of local construction regulations and codes (MUST HAVE DUBAI/ABU DHABI EXPERIENCE).

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
