Interior Fit-Out & Joinery



We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with experience in interior fit-out and joinery projects. The role involves supporting project costing, tender preparation, quantity take-offs, procurement coordination, and commercial monitoring from pre-contract stage through project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Estimation & Tendering

• Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
• Perform quantity take-offs for interior fit-out and joinery works.
• Prepare cost estimates covering materials, labour, subcontract works, and logistics.
• Obtain and review quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in preparation of commercial and technical tender submissions.
• Provide value engineering suggestions and cost optimization options.
• Participate in pre-tender meetings and coordinate technical clarifications with clients and consultants.

Quantity Surveying & Commercial Support

• Prepare BOQ comparisons and cost analysis reports.
• Monitor project budgets and support cost control activities.
• Prepare interim payment applications, progress valuations, and final account documentation.
• Review subcontractor payment applications and variation submissions.
• Assist in managing variations, change orders, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain cost tracking records throughout the project lifecycle.

Procurement & Coordination

• Coordinate with procurement and project teams for material planning.
• Verify quantities prior to purchase requests.
• Liaise with design, production, and site teams for technical coordination.
• Support project teams with commercial information required for project execution.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain estimation records and cost databases.
• Prepare periodic commercial and cost reports.
• Ensure documentation complies with contract requirements and project specifications.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in interior fit-out and joinery projects.
• Knowledge of estimation, cost control, and commercial documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity take-off software.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
