Job Brief:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with strong expertise in quantity take-offs (BOQ) and rate analysis for structural and non-structural metal works. The role will focus on aluminium and general metal fabrication projects, ensuring accurate and competitive cost estimates. Candidates with experience as Quantity Surveyors within the metal or aluminium industry are also encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work for structural and non-structural metal projects.
  • Prepare detailed BOQs with accurate quantity take-offs (mandatory requirement).
  • Conduct rate analysis for materials, labour, and subcontract works with a strong understanding of market pricing.
  • Estimate costs for aluminium works, metal fabrication, and associated components.
  • Interpret drawings and extract quantities for aluminium profiles, sheets, fittings, and related materials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
  • Support tender submissions, including pricing, documentation, and commercial inputs.
  • Maintain records of cost data, material rates, and estimation history.
  • Assist in identifying cost-effective solutions and value engineering opportunities.


Job Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in estimation or quantity surveying within the metal/aluminium industry.
  • Strong expertise in BOQ preparation and rate analysis (mandatory).
  • Experience in structural and non-structural metal works.
  • Good knowledge of aluminium systems, fabrication processes, and materials.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with UAE market rates and suppliers is preferred.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
