Enterprise Services Senior Manager




Business

Job Purpose

Oversees the management and maintenance for all enterprise solutions across ENOC. Oversees the development, integration, assurance, and support of all in-house and third party solutions. 




Principal Accountabilities

Strategy/Governance 
Ensure that all aspects of application development, integration, assurance and support follow the necessary standards and policies at ENOC.
Ensure the timely provision of data and reports to the IT Service Delivery Head and recommend strategic improvements in order to support in planning, decision making and continuous improvement of enterprise solutions and services.
Operational 
Oversee the management and maintenance for all enterprise solutions and lead the application development through the application development lifecycle.
Oversee the reviews and approvals of the functional and technical specifications.
Lead capacity planning for the software development teams.
Ensures adherence to development, PMO and IT service management standards.
Oversee the management and governance of third party products and applications.
Lead the integration across the application landscape as well as review and approve proposed integrations.
Lead the software quality assurance processes for enterprise solutions.
Oversee the validation and approvals of test cases and test plans.
Oversee the applications support for enterprise applications post go live.
Ensure adherence to IT service management standards and SLAs.
Available 24x7 to respond for business or IT operation team calls and attend urgent incidents with IT emergency team on site. 
Oversee periodic research to identify innovative and emerging solutions and technologies to improve service performance and reliability.
Financial Management 
Prepare and endorse the enterprise applications budget.
Manage and report on enterprise applications financial spending.
Oversee the development of applications initiatives TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI (Return on Investment).
People and Talent Management
Formulate workforce planning reports and talent acquisition plans.
Set performance management objectives for all reportees and perform mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
Manage the team’s productivity to achieve the set KPIs and service levels.
Develop and coach the team to enhance their knowledge, skills, and performance.
Manage and resolve team conflicts.
Stakeholder Management 
Build strong relationships and working collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders and customers to achieve objectives




Additional Principal Accountabilities

Experience

Degree: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business field or equivalent.
Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems is preferable.
Required professional certifications: Industry certification in enterprise applications (e.g. MCSD, RHCEAD, Oracle, Java, etc) and project management (e.g. PRINCE II, PMP, etc)
Preferred professional certifications: IT Service Management (e.g. ITIL, etc.).
13+ years of Information Technology experience.
5+ years of relevant working experience. 
Working experience in multiple industries (e.g. Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Retail, Government…) is preferable.
Working experience in managing enterprise applications.
Working experience in application development.
Working experience in software quality assurance.
Working experience in product lifecycle management.
