Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Production Engineer to join our production team. The successful candidate will support manufacturing operations by combining technical electrical knowledge with strong selling and communication skills to drive product quality, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role requires close collaboration with production, quality, sales, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of electrical assemblies and systems.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Support production planning and execution for electrical assemblies, ensuring adherence to specifications, schedules, and quality standards.



  • Provide technical guidance on electrical designs, component selection, wiring practices, testing procedures, and troubleshooting to production teams.



  • Work with sales and account teams to translate customer requirements into producible solutions, presenting technical options and value propositions as needed.



  • Prepare and present technical proposals, cost-benefit analyses, and product demonstrations to internal stakeholders and customers to support sales efforts.



  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor to reduce defects, improve yields, and optimise assembly processes.



  • Develop and maintain production documentation including work instructions, test procedures, bill of materials, and assembly drawings.



  • Collaborate with procurement to specify and approve electrical components, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.



  • Coordinate with quality and test teams to establish inspection criteria, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.



  • Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and internal teams to manage expectations, resolve technical queries and provide status updates.



  • Support commissioning, site acceptance testing and after-sales technical support when required.



Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.



  • 3–6 years’ experience in electrical production, manufacturing engineering, or a similar role in a related industry (manufacturing, HVAC, automotive or industrial electrical systems preferred).



  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical components, wiring, control systems, PCB assemblies and testing methodologies.



  • Proven selling skills with the ability to present technical solutions, prepare technical-commercial offers and support business development activities.



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for clear liaison with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams.



  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability, including root-cause analysis and practical implementation of corrective and preventative actions.



  • Proficiency with engineering tools and software (AutoCAD, electrical schematic tools, Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems is desirable.



  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing production priorities.



  • Willingness to visit production sites and customer locations as required.
