Job DescriptionOverview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Inspector to join our site supervision team for large-scale villa and township development projects. The role involves ensuring that all electrical works executed on-site comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to residential communities, villas, and infrastructure utilities, along with a solid understanding of inspection procedures, quality control, and site coordination.


Your role
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, installations, and materials across villa units, common areas, and township infrastructure (street lighting, utilities, substations).
  • Ensure all electrical works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and local authority regulations.
  • Review and interpret electrical layouts, schematics, shop drawings, and method statements for site compliance.
  • Monitor installation of cabling, DBs, lighting systems, earthing, panels, and ELV systems in villas and township areas.
  • Identify non-conformances (NCRs) and provide corrective/preventive action recommendations.
  • Verify testing & commissioning activities including insulation resistance, earthing, continuity, and functional tests.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports, snag lists, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve site issues and ensure timely closure.
  • Ensure implementation of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and safe work practices on site.
  • Monitor progress of electrical works and ensure compliance with construction schedules and quality benchmarks.
  • Participate in site meetings, progress reviews, and inspections with authorities/consultants.
About you
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience in electrical inspection, preferably in:
    • Villa developments
    • Gated communities / townships
    • Residential infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Electrical systems in residential projects
    • LV distribution, street lighting, earthing, utilities
    • Local authority regulations (e.g., BESCOM, DEWA, etc. depending on location)
    • International codes such as IEC / NEC
  • Experience in site supervision and QA/QC processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs.
  • Familiarity with inspection checklists, ITPs, and documentation protocols.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and reporting tools.

Preferred Experience


  • Certification in Electrical Inspection, QA/QC, or Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, QA/QC certifications) is an advantage.
  • Prior experience working with consultants or PMC roles in township projects.
  • Knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm) is a plus.
