The Electrical Commissioning Engineer is responsible for overseeing the commissioning and start-up activities of electrical systems. This role ensures all equipment and systems function as intended, meet client specifications, and comply with safety regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Supervise installation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
Conduct system functionality testing and performance validation.
Prepare and review commissioning documentation, procedures, and protocols.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during commissioning.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and contractors for seamless integration.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and safety standards.
Support final handover and prepare system operation manuals.
Provide training to operations teams and maintenance personnel.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
Certified and registered as a professional engineer.
Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical commissioning.
Familiar with international commissioning standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation abilities.
Experience in oil & gas or industrial projects preferred.
UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
