Job Description

Summary of General Duties:


  • Manages colleagues' transportation from Accommodation to Hotel and from Hotel to Accommodation  
  • Cleaning and Maintenance of bus on regular basis
  • Review and update the Logbook.
  • Be smart, well-groomed and maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition all the times.
  • Report regularly on happening to Transportation /Employee Services Manager.
  • Maintain associate relations.
  • Resolve passenger's complaints in a good manner.
  • Ensure the services are up to the required standard.
  • Co-operation with hotel’s Departments Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B etc.
  • Attend training classes as per schedule
  • Show fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments
  • Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Pick up / Drop colleagues from accommodation to Hotel and from Hotel to Accommodation in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Duties include operating and maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and passengers' courtesy.
  • Performing minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary.
  • Fueling the vehicle.
  • Ensuring that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported.
  • Preparing trip reports.
  • Preparing accident and incident reports as necessary.
  • Providing other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service.
  • Should be familiar with the roads and landmarks in the UAE (Especially Dubai).
  • Should also be knowledgeable of all local rules of the road.

General/ Miscellaneous


  • Co-ordination and information with the Transportation Team Leader.
  • He/she is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Carry out any other reasonable task (which may not be stated here) as requested

Qualifications

  • Diploma or High school
  • Has 1 – 3 years experience in 4-5 star Hotel or UAE driving experience
  • Valid UAE driver license
