DREDGING PRODUCTION ENGINEER

• Prepare dredging production estimates and cost calculations for tenders and projects based and determine optimal methodologies for project execution 
• Ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives by assisting in planning and scheduling activities
• Evaluate and enhance dredging processes to improve efficiency and productivity
• Provide technical support for equipment issues and operational challenges, resolving problems promptly
• Collect and analyse operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Maintain accurate records of dredging operations, including performance metrics and incident reports, and prepare regular reports on operational performance and project status
• Work closely with team members to ensure effective collaboration and communication
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior staff and crew members, and liaise with clients and stakeholders to address concerns and provide updates on project progress
• Assist in the management of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel
• Set up useful databases for big data analyses and work with engineering, operations, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for the estimation process
• Collaborate closely with the estimation division and operations department to check and analyse estimated versus actual production
• Maintain awareness of contract conditions to ensure estimation and operational alignment
• Suggest improvements to production and cost estimation methods based on lessons learned and feedback
• Stay informed about advancements in dredging technology, industry best practices, and regulatory changes to continuously enhance practices and maintain competitive advantage
• Contribute to lessons learned feedback loops from projects to tenders
• Conduct thorough reviews of project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements
• This is a generalist view of a Job that you have been assigned for - at times you may be requested to do above/beyond the scope of this role due to Operational requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent 
• Minimum 04 years of related work experience in similar industries

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent 
• Minimum 07 years of related work experience in similar industries
