Job description

Position Overview:

The Deputy CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and will be a key player in its ongoing expansion efforts. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience and strategic insight to help drive the company's growth and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the CFO in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with long-term objectives.
  • Oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, and provide strategic advice to the management team.
  • Manage treasury operations, including cash flow management, financing, and risk management.
  • Lead efforts in financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate potential investments and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess opportunities for financial optimization and process improvements.
  • Support the company’s sustainability initiatives by integrating financial analytics into sustainability programs.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team to enhance operational efficiency and financial acumen.


Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, etc.) are an advantage.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably as a Deputy CFO, Finance Director, or similar position.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years and a maximum of 15 years of experience in financial management, with specific exposure to the manufacturing sector being highly advantageous.
  • Experience in managing large-scale financial operations and leading teams.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic financial planning and execution.
  • Experience in sustainability reporting and financial analytics in the context of environmental initiatives is preferred.
