We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Trauma Surgeon to join our leading healthcare team at Astra ProMed.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert surgical care to patients suffering from traumatic injuries, including acute management, operative interventions, and postoperative care.
This role requires the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure emergency situations and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities Manage and perform surgical treatment of patients with traumatic injuries involving multiple organ systems.
Respond promptly to trauma emergencies, providing critical care and timely surgical interventions.
Coordinate with emergency medicine, critical care, orthopedic, neurosurgery, and other specialties to deliver comprehensive trauma care.
Evaluate patients preoperatively and postoperatively, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
Participate in trauma team leadership, protocol development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Provide education and training to junior surgical staff and multidisciplinary team members.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records following hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Private Health Insurance Paid Time Off Training & Development Performance Bonus Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification or equivalent qualification in Trauma Surgery or General Surgery with trauma specialization.
Valid medical license to practice in the UAE or eligibility to obtain one.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in trauma surgery or acute surgical care in a high-volume trauma center.
Proven ability to make quick, effective decisions in emergency and high-pressure settings.
Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
