Consultant Ophthalmologist

1. Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose eye conditions.
2. Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various ocular diseases.
3. Perform surgical procedures, including cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, and retinal surgeries.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
5. Stay updated with the latest advancements in ophthalmology and incorporate them into practice.
6. Educate patients and their families about eye health and preventive measures.
7. Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of ophthalmic knowledge.
8. Supervise and mentor junior ophthalmologists and medical staff.
9. Manage patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
10. Engage in community outreach programs to promote eye health awareness.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Board-certified in ophthalmology with relevant qualifications.
2. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in ophthalmology.
3. Strong surgical skills with a proven track record of successful procedures.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

7. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
