Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures ensuring their safety and comfort.
Evaluate patients preoperatively to determine the most appropriate anesthesia plan based on medical history and physical examination.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and physiological responses during anesthesia and make necessary adjustments to maintain stability.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care throughout surgical procedures.
Manage pain control and provide postoperative care including pain relief and monitoring for potential anesthesia-related complications.
Stay current with advancements in anesthetic techniques and medical technology to continually improve patient outcomes.
Participate in the development and enforcement of anesthesia protocols and safety standards within the healthcare facility.
Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Anesthesiology from a recognized institution.
Valid medical license to practice as an anesthesiologist in the United Arab Emirates or eligibility to obtain one.
At least 5 years of clinical experience as a Consultant Anesthesiologist in a reputable hospital or healthcare setting.
Demonstrated expertise in administering various anesthesia techniques including general, regional, and local anesthesia.
Strong knowledge of perioperative medicine, pain management, and critical care related to anesthesiology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary medical teams.
