We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer - I&C for one of our clients with the following details:


Duration: 24 Months


Employment Status: Single status/Resident/Onshore


Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates -Site based (Habshan, Rumaytha, Sahl, Al Nouf, Bu hasa, Asab, Jasubra) – depending on project requirement


Start Date: ASAP


Qualification and Experience required:


  • 5-10 Years ) Minimum years
  • ADNOC & GCC Experience Mandatory
  • Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronic Engineering
  • Strong experience in EPC/EPCM commissioning projects
  • Hands-on experience with control systems (DCS/PLC/SCADA/ESD)
  • Familiarity with completion management systems (ICAPS, WINPCS, etc.)
  • Vendor coordination experience for control systems and instrumentation packages

Activities:


  • The Commissioning Engineer — l&C is responsible for supporting and executing commissioning activities for instrumentation and control systems facilities. The role ensures systems are installed, tested, and commissioned safely and in accordance with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and international codes.
  • Execute pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for l&C systems
  • Perform loop checking, calibration, and functional testing of field instruments and control systems
  • Commission DCS, PLC, SCADA, and ESD systems in coordination with vendors and engineering teams
  • Review and validate P&IDs, control philosophies, logic diagrams, and cause & effect charts
  • Ensure readiness of instrumentation systems for start-up and handover
  • Manage and close punch lists (A/B/C) related to l&C scope
  • Prepare and verify commissioning procedures, method statements, and test reports
  • Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, electrical, and process teams for system completion
  • Ensure compliance with client standards (e.g., ADNOC), international codes, and project specifications
  • Maintain accurate commissioning documentation and progress reports
