Job Summary:
A leading precision machining company in Dubai is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer with a strong background in SolidCAM (SolidWorks) and high-precision component manufacturing.
This role requires deep knowledge of CNC programming and hands-on experience in machining processes. You'll work closely with the design and production teams to ensure smooth execution of complex parts from drawing to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and optimize CNC programs using SolidCAM (SolidWorks)
· Interpret CAD models, technical drawings, and GD&T documentation
· Select appropriate tools, cutting speeds, and feeds to ensure precision and efficiency
· Support CNC setup and trial runs to validate programs
· Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs when needed
· Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams for part validation
· Maintain organized program files and documentation
· Contribute to continuous improvement in programming and machining practices
Qualification &Skills:
· Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or equivalent
· Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming with SolidCAM (SolidWorks)
· Strong knowledge of precision machining (metal/plastic components)
· Proficient in reading engineering drawings and GD&T
· Hands-on experience in CNC setup and operation (lathe/milling) is a plus
· Familiarity with other CAM tools (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX, Fusion360) is an advantage
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills
