CIVIL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Description:

• Execute the approved field visit and site survey plan for the department’s buildings and facilities, as well as government entities as assigned. Prepare technical reports to identify detailed requirements for preventive maintenance works, supported by photos, documents, and bills of quantities.
• Implement and monitor the progress of projects, maintenance works, modifications, and additions through approved contractors and companies, or through the in-house maintenance team. Ensure compliance with approved specifications, designs, and timelines.
• Carry out design works related to modifications and additions for citizens’ housing annexes, and follow up on their licensing with the Buildings Department in accordance with established procedures.
• Identify, schedule, and evaluate change requests in projects, maintenance works, modifications, and additions submitted by consultants, contractors, and beneficiaries. Submit them to the direct supervisor for appropriate decision and approval, and follow up on their implementation.
• Prepare the scope of work for projects and maintenance activities based on technical reports and conducted field visits.
• Receive corrective maintenance requests, assess the need for execution, and issue the necessary work orders to contractors through the electronic maintenance management system, while adhering to approved timelines.
• Ensure that financial claims and payment certificates submitted by consultants and contractors comply with contract terms, technical specifications, and approved designs, and prepare payment disbursement forms.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree
