KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regulatory & Compliance:
● Register as Technical Manager with Dubai Municipality
● Obtain Technical Practice Certificate through Dubai Municipality system
● Ensure all technical documentation meets DM and regulatory requirements
● Maintain compliance with UAE building codes and standards
Operational Setup:
● Establish project execution procedures and quality control systems
● Set up technical documentation and filing systems
● Coordinate with authorities for permits, approvals, and inspections
● Develop vendor and subcontractor network
Technical Leadership:
● Serve as primary technical authority for all projects (G+1 building contracting)
● Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs
● Oversee site supervision and quality assurance
● Prepare technical proposals and bid documentation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
● Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
● Valid UAE Civil Engineering license or immediate eligibility to obtain one
● 2-5 years experience in UAE building contracting sector
● Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality requirements and approval processes
● Experience with Technical Practice Certificate procedures (highly preferred)
● Ability to work independently as sole technical authority
● Valid UAE driving license
