Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Review architectural and structural drawings to plan construction methods, materials, and schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and site supervisors to align on project requirements.
- Prepare project execution plans, timelines, and budgets.
Site Supervision and Execution:
- Supervise day-to-day operations at villa construction sites.
- Ensure proper execution of foundation works, structural framing, roofing, plastering, and finishing as per design.
- Conduct site inspections to verify work progress and compliance with engineering standards.
Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to building codes, local regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor quality of materials and workmanship; recommend corrective measures if necessary.
- Maintain site documentation including inspection reports, material test results, and construction logs.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Attend project meetings and provide technical updates and recommendations.
Budget and Cost Control:
- Assist in cost estimation and procurement of construction materials.
- Monitor project costs and ensure they align with approved budgets.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
- Enforce site safety rules and conduct toolbox talks and safety drills.
- Identify and mitigate potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Valid professional engineering license (e.g., UAE Society of Engineers, PE, etc.).
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in villa or residential building construction.
- Strong knowledge of structural design, construction methods, and project management.
- Familiar with local construction regulations, building codes, and HSE requirements.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and construction management software (e.g., Primavera, Revit).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
