Job description

  • As a Mechanical Engineering Technician, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development and testing of mechanical systems and components. This includes participating in the design and prototyping of new products, as well as modifying existing systems for improved performance.
  • You will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical system issues, utilizing a range of tools and equipment to identify and implement solutions, always prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • You'll work in close collaboration with engineering teams to generate detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software, playing a key role in translating conceptual designs into practical, manufacturable products.
  • You'll have hands-on duties that encompass assembling, testing, and maintaining mechanical prototypes and equipment, all with the aim of ensuring they meet quality standards and performance criteria.
  • Working closely with engineering teams, you will assist in producing detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software, thereby aiding in the transition of conceptual designs into practical, manufacturable products.
