About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Operations Manager to lead and optimize the day-to-day operations of our automotive garage in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge, a passion for operational excellence, and the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities
🚗 Oversee the daily operations of the workshop — service bays, body shop, paint shop, and parts division.
🚗 Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to manufacturer and safety standards.
🚗 Manage resource planning — technicians, tools, equipment, and workflow to maximize efficiency.
🚗 Monitor KPIs — productivity, turnaround time, revenue targets, and customer satisfaction scores.
🚗 Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance service delivery.
🚗 Supervise and train staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.
🚗 Liaise with suppliers, insurance companies, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
🚗 Implement and enforce HSE policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
✅ Experience: 10+ years in automotive service/garage operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (UAE / GCC experience preferred).
✅ Technical knowledge: Automotive repair, diagnostics, workshop technology, body & paint, parts management.
✅ Education: Diploma or degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
✅ Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.
✅ Languages: English essential; Arabic is a plus.
