Summary: The Assistant Manager, Regulatory – Americas leads all regulatory activities for the Americas (North America, Canada, South America).
This role ensures products comply with applicable frameworks including North & South American relevant Cosmetic Regulations including US Federal & State Regulations, Packaging Regulations, reporting and other applicable regulations.
The position is key in ensuring compliant product launches, accurate labelling, and timely responses to post-market requirements and regulatory intelligence updates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Lead regulatory compliance for all cosmetic products marketed in Americas, including formula review, packaging, and claims.
Initiate testing required for regional compliance, in collaboration with the rest of the regulatory team.
Lead all product registration activities for the Americas – including any document requests, retailer collaboration and tracking product registration status.
Artwork approvals for all US markets.
PIF documents and CPSRs.
Formula compliance reviews for Americas compliance.
Lead data collection for packaging information for global EPR reporting.
Lead EPR reporting for the US.
Provide regulatory intelligence, monitoring new and emerging US federal and state legislation and assessing business impacts.
Lead on other product, packaging or FG compliance initiatives & reporting (such as CARB, Ingredient Tonnage Tracking etc) for the Americas region.
Support new market or retailer onboarding in the Americas region.
Attend launch meetings, track projects and update the wider teams on progress.
Lead post-market surveillance, maintaining safety documentation and escalation procedures in line with the cosmetovigilance processes.
Collaborate closely with NPD, Product Development and Marketing teams to enable compliant launches.
Collaborate closely with Regional GM and commercial teams on launch strategies, product compliance and product registrations.

Solid experience, familiarity with regulations, and proven knowledge in the makeup and cosmetics industry.
Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in a Cosmetic Regulatory Affairs role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe; familiarity with social media/web platforms is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail with an analytical mindset.
Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
