Assistant Design Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Design Manager to support the delivery of multidisciplinary design projects across the Property & Buildings sector. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will assist in coordinating design teams, managing project deliverables, monitoring schedules, and ensuring successful project outcomes that meet client expectations and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the Design Manager in the planning, coordination, and delivery of multidisciplinary design projects.
• Coordinate design activities between internal disciplines, external consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedules, design deliverables, and key milestones.
• Facilitate design coordination meetings and track actions to closure.
• Assist in managing project risks, design changes, and quality assurance processes.
• Support client engagement, presentations, and project reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, company standards, and local authority regulations.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in design management, project coordination, or multidisciplinary design consultancy.
• Experience delivering Property & Buildings projects within the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of design development and project delivery processes.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project planning tools and BIM coordination would be advantageous.
