Position Summary:


The Assembly Shift Supervisor provides hands-on leadership for shift-based assembly and testing operations at Emerson’s Middle East and Africa manufacturing facility in Dubai. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing activities while meeting production, quality, and delivery commitments. The supervisor plays a key role in driving operational excellence, fostering teamwork, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a compliant manufacturing environment.


In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:


  • Lead and coordinate daily assembly and testing operations to achieve production, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by driving 5S practices and continuous safety improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate execution of production orders in line with operational plans and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical and operational support for advanced and customized calibration activities.
  • Oversee special assembly and testing processes to meet defined specifications and customer requirements.
  • Support accurate system transactions and maintenance of required production and quality documentation.
  • Coordinate and facilitate customer inspections in line with approved inspection plans.
  • Lead structured problem-solving activities to improve Right First Time performance.
  • Monitor and communicate shift schedules to ensure alignment with team availability and workload.
  • Manage tool control activities, including monitoring and replacement coordination.
  • Supervise internal preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Support assembly technicians in resolving production, quality, and process-related issues.
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings to align teams on safety, priorities, and shift objectives.
  • Prepare and submit monthly operational reports covering production performance, quality metrics, safety observations, and improvement actions.
  • Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.

  • Ability to work effectively in a shift-based manufacturing environment.
