About Dubai Foundation for Women and Children:

   The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children is the first authorized non-profit shelter and humanitarian care in the United Arab Emirates to care for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and victims of human trafficking. It was established in late 2007 in order to provide victims with immediate shelter, protection and support services, in accordance with international human rights conventions.

• Administer and maintain enterprise application systems and databases.
• Monitor application performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Configure application settings and manage user access permissions.
• Support the implementation of new applications and system enhancements.
• Coordinate software upgrades, patches, and version releases.

• Provide first and second-line support for application-related issues.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system incidents and user-reported problems.
• Liaise with software vendors and service providers for technical support and issue resolution.
• Maintain records of incidents, requests, and system changes.

• Analyse user requirements and recommend system improvements.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and implementation of new functionalities.
• Assist in business process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, user manuals, and technical procedures.

• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality across applications.
• Generate and analyse system reports to support management decision-making.
• Assist in data migration, integration, and validation activities.
• Monitor database performance and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.

• Ensure compliance with information security policies and procedures.
• Monitor application access controls and user authorisations.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery activities related to application systems.

Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and organisational requirements. 

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications are desirable.
