The AMC Operator – Fire Alarm Systems is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems under Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC). The role ensures all systems are fully operational, compliant with safety standards, and functioning efficiently through regular inspections, testing, and client coordination.
Continuously monitor fire alarm control panels and respond promptly to alarms, faults, and system alerts.
Conduct routine inspections, system walk-downs, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems.
Provide technical support to ensure proper installation, operation, and maintenance of fire alarm equipment.
Review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications to ensure system compliance.
Perform periodic equipment checks, testing, and commissioning support.
Develop and implement testing procedures for fire alarm systems.
Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, and carry out necessary repairs in a timely manner.
Program, configure, and update fire alarm systems as required.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and project/installation engineers for issue resolution and service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, reports, and system performance.
Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations and company standards.
Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in fire alarm system maintenance or AMC operations.
Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, control panels, and associated equipment.
Experience in system programming (e.g., addressable fire alarm systems).
Familiarity with local authority regulations and safety standards (e.g., Civil Defense).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and client-handling abilities.
