Chartford Accounts Auditing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. We are looking for a professional who can effectively manage accounting operations, maintain financial accuracy, and support business growth through sound financial practices.

Position: Accountant

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: starting from AED 3,000 and above based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Prepare and record journal entries, invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Prepare financial reports, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Support VAT compliance, tax-related filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist during internal and external audit processes.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure timely processing of payments and collections.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, banks, and government authorities when required.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

-Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.

-Valid UAE Driving License is required.

-Must hold a valid UAE residence visa (Own Visa).

-Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping practices. --Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.

-Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Accounting Software is required.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

-Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

-Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

-Open to all nationalities.
