2nd W/K Electrical Engineer for Dredger.
Assist the Chief/1st Electrical Engineer in operation and maintenance of all electrical systems onboard.
Maintain power generation, distribution systems, and switchboards for safe vessel operations.
Monitor and maintain dredging equipment electrical systems (cutters, pumps, winches).
Carry out watchkeeping duties and respond to electrical alarms and faults promptly.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, MCCs, and control panels.
Ensure proper functioning of navigation lights, communication, and safety systems.
Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and minimize downtime of dredging operations.
Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and spare parts consumption.
Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company compliance standards.
Support automation, PLC systems, and assist during dry dock and major repairs.
Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering.
5-10 years relevant experience preferably on Marine vessels.
