Lead and manage all electrical, automation, and instrumentation systems onboard the dredger.
Ensure continuous operation and maintenance of dredging equipment, including pumps, drives, and control systems.
Supervise electrical team and allocate daily work tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Maintain power generation, distribution systems, switchboards, and emergency backup systems.
Troubleshoot and rectify faults in PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and communication networks.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance as per PMS schedules.
Ensure compliance with class, flag state, and company safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records, logs, and electrical documentation onboard.
Coordinate with Chief Engineer and shore management for spares, upgrades, and dry dock planning.
Promote safe working practices and conduct risk assessments for all electrical activities.
Bachelor's degree in electrical & Electronics Engineering.
STCW certification.
