Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise and leadership skills in tooling and industrialization to a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, cross-functional, and forward-thinking teammates.

You’ll specifically take care of steering tooling activities from the tender phase to serial production while supporting production ramp-up and ongoing improvement initiatives.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Identifying tooling needs during tenders in collaboration with the Product Industrilization and Costing team.
  • Evaluating total tooling costs, including study, manufacturing, implementation, maintenance, and lifecycle costs.
  • Analyzing tooling requests during product and project industrialization and proposing robust, safe, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Writing functional tooling specifications and validating them with key stakeholders.
  • Managing tooling sourcing activities, including preparing purchase requests, participating in RFQ analyses, and contributing to supplier selection.
  • Validating tooling design and manufactured tooling prior to industrial use through structured reviews.
  • Defining and validating tooling operating procedures and organizing training for manufacturing teams.
  • Supporting production through continuous improvement actions, productivity initiatives, and issue resolution.
  • Contributing to and applying Alstom tooling standards and specifications.
  • Participating in the Alstom Tooling Network to share best practices and lessons learned.

  • Understanding of Process FMEA.
  • A conscientious, reliable, and team-oriented mindset with a clear focus on ownership and delivery.
  • A logical, structured, and well-organized approach to daily tasks.

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:
