Digital Design Verification Engineer – Istanbul, Turkey


The Instrumentation Group at ADI is seeking a Staff Digital Design Verification Engineer to join our growing team in Istanbul, Turkey. The role involves contributing to the verification of complex digital and mixed‑signal IPs and subsystems to ensure high product quality and first‑pass silicon success.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute verification plans and strategies for IP, subsystem, and top-level designs.
  • Build SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches, including reusable components, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards.
  • Implement constrained‑random, directed, and coverage‑driven test scenarios.
  • Achieve functional, code, assertion coverage targets.
  • Apply formal verification and integrate assertions as part of the verification flow.
  • Collaborate with RTL designers to debug issues, resolve bugs, and improve design testability.
  • Perform gate-level simulations, SDF‑based timing checks, and low‑power verification flows.
  • Verify integration of digital IPs such as SPI, I2C, UART, JTAG, and custom interfaces.
  • Contribute to DFT/scan verification and ATPG pattern simulation where applicable.
  • Support post‑silicon bring‑up, correlating silicon behavior with simulation results.
  • Document verification environments, processes, and methodologies; share best practices with the team.

Minimum Qualifications


  • BS or MS in Electronic Engineering with 8+ years of experience in digital IC design & verification.
  • Strong expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and advanced verification methodologies.
  • Experience with functional and assertion coverage, randomization, and debug tools.
  • Knowledge of linting, CDC, and formal verification concepts.
  • Strong understanding of digital logic, control/data‑path concepts, and timing-aware verification.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and/or TCL is a plus.
  • Experience working across full ASIC/SoC development, from design to silicon.
  • Experience with mixed‑signal or AMS verification is a plus.
  • Applicants with less experience will be considered for other relevant positions.
