Purpose of the job


Defines the manufacturing process and associated equipment for a new product, taking into account the industrial policy, existing standards and constraints of the project.


Responsibilities


  • Prepare production drawings in CATIA and actively participate in product design using co-engineering methodologies, including macro-process design based on SMP standards
  • Identify manufacturing equipment needs, estimate method time, perform detailed line balancing, and analyze critical process steps with Process FMEA and FAR/FAI
  • Prepare industrial documentation such as work instructions and data sheets, and design workstation layouts considering ergonomics, EHS rules, and movement optimization
  • Validate industrialization studies and support production in achieving QCD targets by resolving related issues
  • Develop specifications for industrial means and tools required for serial production

Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Railway Systems, Mechanical, Metallurgy or Material engineering
  • Design Experience for Tools and Production Drawings in CATIA
  • 2-4 years technical experience of Process Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing
  • Fluent in English and Turkish
  • Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up
  • Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics
  • Process FMEA, QRQC
