Packaging Buyer

About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for Packaging Buyer to make a difference at Kraft Heinz Turkey. Packaging buyer role lies within the Procurement team and is based in our Akmerkez Office. You’ll be working in a high-performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting to the Packaging Procurement Manager.

In brief, you will be responsible for

• Implement sourcing strategies for the packaging category in alignment with Global Procurement objectives

  
  

• Lead supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract management processes

  
  

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply conditions to ensure cost efficiency and supply continuity

  
  

• Drive Value Engineering, productivity, and cost-saving initiatives within the packaging category

  
  

• Monitor supplier performance in terms of delivery, quality, and responsiveness

  
  

• Identify supply risks and develop mitigation actions to ensure supply security

  
  

• Support new product launches and packaging development projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams

  
  

• Monitor market trends, alternative suppliers, and innovations to identify opportunities and sustainability initiatives

  
  

• Contribute to budgeting processes and cost control activities in partnership with Procurement Finance

  
  

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and standards throughout all procurement activities

  
  

  What you bring

  
  

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a reputable university

  
  

• Preferably 2+ years’ experience in Procurement, food industry is a plus.

  
  

• Negotiation & commercial experience in tendering, cost modeling, supplier selections, technical background preferably in the packaging category

  
  

• Fluent in English

  
  

• Knowledge SAP, Ariba knowledge

  
  

• Analytical thinking capabilities and result-driven

  
  

• Agility & quick learning

  
  

• Passion for improving and proactive nature

  
  

• Communication Skills
