This role entails creating Import documentation packets for shipments originating from various countries throughout the world, which include Letters of Credit Certificates of Origin, Commercial Invoices, House & Master Bills of Lading, and more. The Import Documentation Specialist will be responsible for tracking all ımport shipments, providing customers with accurate, timely, and friendly service regarding these shipments, and submitting AES filings, shipping instructions and verified gross masses.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with ocean/freight ımport documentation required.
• Experience with AES/ACE filings preferred.
• Familiarity with different payment terms (CAD, DP, & LC’s).
• Ability to effectively manage time and be self-motivated.
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize workflow and complete tasks with a high level of organization, responsibility, and efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
