Role Overview:
As a Mechanical Analysis Intern, you will support mechanical analysis for technology development and/or product programs. This position will help accelerate your engineering development through real project work, provide coaching, and exposure to cross-functional teams.
The Ideal Candidate:
You are a motivated engineering student with a fundamental knowledge in solid mechanics, strength of materials, and an interest in using FEA tools to solve real hardware problems.
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering.
Part time working during the academic term (minimum 3 days a week)
Must remain enrolled as a student throughout the internship period
Coursework or project experience in strength of solid mechanics or finite element analysis
Proficient in MS Office Skills (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint).
Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
Eager to learn, open to communication, self-motivated, and willingness to work collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran) through coursework, research, or internships and
Knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., NX/Unigraphics or similar).
Fundamental understanding of gas turbine engines.
Basic scripting/automation experience (e.g., Python or MATLAB) for data processing or workflow improvement.
