You will drive the adoption of new payment methods, optimize costs, and enable efficient payment acceptance to support Trendyol’s international growth.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Define and execute the payment collection strategy for Trendyol, ensuring alignment with our broader commercial and financial objectives.
- Develop an optimal payment acceptance structure by identifying key payment methods and understanding market-specific customer behaviors.
- Select and manage relationships with payment partners (including fintech companies, banks, and payment schemes), ensuring these partnerships align with Trendyol’s financial and operational goals.
- Negotiate and close payment partnership agreements to secure advantageous terms with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the product and tech teams to ensure seamless development and technical integration of payment solutions, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.
- Continuously identify process improvements to optimize payment operations, streamline transaction processing, and ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze key payment metrics, using insights to drive further enhancements and innovations in the payments space.
- Conduct a systematic analysis of regional payment-system-based loyalty programs and strategically integrate relevant models into the Trendyol payment experience.
Qualities We're Looking for
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree from a reputable university preferably in Engineering, Management, Business, Economics and other quantitative studies
- 8-12 years of experience in payments roles (business functions like strategy, business development, partnership management, campaign management, product ownership)
- Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
- Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
- Excellent knowledge of the payment systems/fintech industry
- Good business acumen & curiosity, including skill in understanding the business, competition, and growth opportunities
