Job description

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Service team in Turkey. In this role, you will be responsible for executing service, maintenance, repair, and installation activities on customer sites while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with a team of service engineers and technicians and contribute to continuous improvement of service performance.

Responsibilities / Tasks


  • Execute service, maintenance, installation, and repair activities at customer sites across Turkey
  • Apply knowledge of decanters and separators, including operational principles, related processes, and repair techniques, to troubleshoot issues and support investigation reports and operational inspections to improve equipment efficiency
  • Assemble and disassemble mechanical equipment such as decanters, separators, homogenizers, valves, and pumps in the workshop or at customer sites, in accordance with GEA working instructions and quality standards
  • Work in close coordination with a team of service engineers and technicians, ensuring timely completion of work and compliance with GEA quality and safety requirements
  • Attend technical trainings related to equipment and processes in line with company regulations to continuously enhance professional skills
  • Inspect operational, mechanical, electrical, process, and quality aspects of systems, and document executed work according to company service and reporting guidelines
  • Review and evaluate service practices, and propose and implement corrective actions to improve service efficiency and performance levels


Your Profile / Qualifications


  • Engineering degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred) or technicians with strong experience in Mechanical or Process Technology fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in field service and mechanical maintenance in industries such as: Environment, Dairy, Food, Chemical, Pharma, Marine, or Energy
  • Process knowledge of separation technology is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Good command of spoken and written English. Only applications submitted in English will be considered
  • Team player with strong ownership, analytical thinking, and a customer‑oriented mindset
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Completed military service for male candidates
  • Willingness to travel frequently
