The Business Operations Team at Firefly drives strategic decision-making through extensive quantitative analysis. By harnessing internal and external data, the BusOps team provides vital business intelligence to the sales, finance, and operations teams to drive key strategic decisions, including pricing, resource investment, and business/process improvements.
As a Business Operations Associate, you will support this dynamic team with tasks involving pricing, research, data management, and analysis. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact strategy and planning projects, helping shape the future of a hyper-growth ad-tech startup expanding across the U.S. and new markets.

Responsibilities


  • Conduct strategic market analysis, including competitive landscape evaluations, to inform go-to-market strategies.
  • Gather, analyze, and present data from internal systems to various stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Lead the implementation of new products and initiatives, creating business plans that position Firefly for success.
  • Provide actionable business intelligence and analytics to evaluate industry dynamics, initiative impact, and overall company performance for executive decision-making.
  • Develop pricing and promotion strategies and rate cards for Firefly’s product.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations) to drive key projects to completion.
  • Generate periodic and ad-hoc reports for the Sales and Executive teams.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance sales team efficiency and lead the adoption of scalable best practices.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Up to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Genuine interest in business and management, with eagerness to learn pricing strategies and market dynamics.
  • Quantitative aptitude with data analysis capabilities.
  • Strong command of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter with a strong ownership mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ready to be a part of tech startup culture regarding learning agility, lean startup mindset, and endless curiosity.
  • Willingness to work U.S. business hours in a flexible, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
