Our client is well well-known Saudi Travel Agency looking for an experienced Regional Branch Manager to join their team.
The Branch Manager will be expected to front-end with external parties, work on keeping our relations in the Region at an optimum level. Leading the effort on local sales and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations is an integral part of this role. He must work to ensure that business process outcomes are in harmony with an organization’s strategic goals. It is also important to focus on the entire process from beginning to end, which helps us leverage the local market by building strong relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Advise the management on the best way forward with local authorities and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with all local regulations is met and updated as and when required. This role will include handling local authorities and maintaining relations in the best possible way.
- Ensuring the overall profitability of the branch is achieved by maximizing all sales to the fullest potential.
- Ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of the branch.
- Supervising, coaching, and developing branch staff.
- Identifying and meeting customers’ needs by always providing exceptional customer service.
- Increasing the exposure of the branch and developing new business leads.
- Promote offers, generating customer engagement and sales leads.
- Acting as a figurehead within the local community and attending all promotional activities and events.
- Attending managers’ meetings, conferences, and events as required.
- Effectively performing administrative duties.
- Ensuring both the branch and staff appearance conform to company standards.
- To undertake any other duties that may fall within the job criteria.
Skills
Candidate Essential Skills:
- Very sound knowledge of Local laws, regulations, and Government requirements.
- Must be very well connected and have a pulse of the local market and good connections.
- Previous managerial/supervisory experience working at a Travel Agency, preferably with Hajj and Umrah experience.
- Excellent travel product knowledge with a good working knowledge of tour operator systems.
- Good sales and presentation skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills
