Key missions of the position:


To provide exceptional customer service by efficiently managing engineering services business. Generating accurate quotes


and invoices, actively participating in tenders, and ensuring timely support to the field parts and service sales team are key


deliverables. This role is pivotal in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales success through meticulous attention


to detail, proactive communication, and unwavering commitment to excellence.


Responsibilities :


1. Team Work:


  • Work with team of 3-5 members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Provide support and response to internal and external customer.

2. Margin and Pricing Management:


  • Monitor and analyze pricing trends and market conditions to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to set and achieve margin targets.
  • Analyse and study market to identify areas of product improvement and cost reduction.

3. Budgetary Quote (BQ) Submission:


  • Evaluate technical and commercial requirements from customers.
  • Prepare and submit budgetary quotes for the regional team within specified timelines.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams to gather technical clarifications and delivery
  • information for accurate quotes.

4. Tender Quoting:


  • Co-orindating internal teams, preparing detailed proposals(technical, commercial, cost estimates)
  • Ensuring compliance submitting bids by deadlines for metro tenders through GEM (Government e-Marketplace) and IREPS
  • (Indian Railways e-Procurement System) portals.

5. BQ Preparation:


  • Create budgetary quotes for new products based on technical manual recommendations.
  • Address must-change items and conditional-based items.

6. BQ Conversion and Follow-Up:


  • Coordinate with partner companies for HSN (Harmonized System of Nomenclature) and GST (Goods and Services Tax)
  • details requests.

7. Monthly Reporting and Analytics:


  • Prepare monthly reports on budgetary quotes, considering tender and order data for IR and private customers.
  • Conduct monthly analytics of tenders and quotations to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

8. Digitization in Spares and Trading:


  • Utilize internal software platforms (Configure, Price, Quote) and tools to prepare spares and tender offers.
  • Drive digitization and adoption of technological platforms in service operations.

9. Quality and Compliance:


  • Promote 5S principles for good housekeeping within the department.
  • Support in ISO activities/audit

Education/Training


  • BE/ B.Tech degree in Mechanical/ Electrical from a recognized university.

Professional Experience


  • 3 to 5 years of industry experience
