- Accomplishes specific tasks within the Assembly area, (e.g. representative not full list)
- Performs all checks as defined in the Quality control plan and records the required data
- Identifies non-conforming products with "red card" process
- Distributes and collects PDEK or other control charts
- Gives feedback to line and to WPA for all non-conformities found on the assembly line (e.g. electrical test, clip test, inspection points, care points, etc.) by using the stop at first defect process
- Inspects 5S / housekeeping application within the area of responsibility
- Identifies areas of product risk e.g. material on the floor, terminals damaged, bent within holders, stands, mixed components, etc.
- Checks that operators are qualified to work on the station in line with the skills matrix
- Checks adherence to OK to Start procedure at the start of each shift
- Performs check of error proofing conformity within the assembly area (e.g. good/bad sample test release, poka- yoke, jigs, etc.)
- Varifies that assembly aid tools are available and used in proper condition (e.g. convolute and corrugated tube aids, pvc tube aids, etc.)
- Validates the completion of the packing process and conformity according to work instructions
- Ensures that in-line and off-line reworks are performed by qualified operators with released tools and respecting rework procedures
- Inspects if documentation in workstation according to control plan and internal standards is followed
- Audits final harness inspection in accordance with the QM plan and or additional care points
