What makes you remarkable?


  • Ensure that construction Contractors working within his discipline adhere strictly to the latest Approved for Construction (AFC) project drawings, Specifications, ITP’s, Procedures, Site Instructions and Quality aspects of the work within assigned areas 
  • Supervise, Expedite and Monitor Subcontractor work to ensure they complete their work in accordance within the project safety, quality and  project schedule requirement
  • Responsible for the execution of the work in accordance with quality standards and requirements specified for the project
  • Management of installation, commissioning and completion activities for facilities and equipment
  • Ability to monitor work progress and report against plan
  • Attend contractors’ toolbox talk and participate in HSE Audit with HSE officer on weekly and HSE inspection of allocated areas
  • Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities and accountabilities have been defined and communicated to workers engaged within their areas of control
  • Initiate safety, quality and environmental processes within their areas of control, including toolbox meetings, inspections, and the identification, assessment and control of risks in accordance with company and Owner requirements
  • Ensure that there is adequate Subcontractor supervisions on site to maintain proper levels of safety, quality and schedule
  • Agree method statements, risk assessments and job safety analysis, and ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with these deliverables
  • Participate in and encourage Contractors to embrace the HEART behavioral safety approach
  • Proactive in providing support to project team in assigned project work as and when required

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree, Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical or related field with Minimum 10 years’ experience in Tankage work
  • Extensive Oil & Gas or Petrochemical construction experience with a track record of managing Tankage work
  • Considerable experience of supervising contractor to achieve effective construction execution, quality and safety
  • Good HSES awareness and commitment including skill and knowledge in preparation of Method Statement, Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessment
  • Good English language communication and reporting skills
  • Good computerize skill in Microsoft software Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Good team leadership in technical, interpersonal and communication skill
  • Good Problem solving - Ability to identify problems, determines possible solution, and actively works to resolve issues
  • Good Decision making - Knowledge of and ability to use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions and / or reaching conclusions. Ability to take action consistent with available facts, constraints and anticipated consequences
  • Good English language communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with multiple reporting priorities
  • Willing to work extended hours including weekends
