Responsibilities:

What makes you remarkable?


  • Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the main functions of the role will be to issue Pre - qualification Questionnaire (PQ) to potential new supplies
  • Prepare Inquiry Documents, Expedite Suppliers bids
  • Prepare Bid Opening and Commercial Bid Tabulation
  • Bid Evaluation, Negotiations, and Preparation of Final Bid Tab
  • Prepare Email for Order Award and Formal Order Award after approvals
  • Expedite Order Acknowledgement and issues change orders
  • Daily desk expediting of purchase orders
  • Continually set expediting follow up dates in materials management system 
  • Issue expediting progress reports and update system accordingly
  • Understands the supplier delivery obligations form the terms and conditions of purchase 
  • Ability to interpret supplier production plans to identify improvement opportunities and negotiate delivery improvements  
  • Notifying Procurement Manager of any potential schedule slippages.
  • Preparing supplier performance evaluation and order close out
  • Performing all purchasing activity in accordance with the set project purchasing procedure and the purchasing work instructions

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in field of engineering or business
  • Minimum of 8 years Supply Chain experience of working within Procurement preferably within the Oil & Gas Petrochemical plant
  • Broad knowledge of Suppliers, commercial Evaluations, Negotiations and Terms and Conditions of Purchase/Contract.
  • Record of skills training appropriate for job specific role.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, oral and presentation 
  • Maintains a strong network both within and outside of supply chain department 
  • Positively maintain relationships with suppliers and other disciplines 
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Enthusiastic proactive attitude 
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving skill
  • Work as part of project execution team 
  • Identify efficiency, process and tool improvement opportunities and successful drive through change
  • Fluent in English and Thai language skills (both spoken & written) to enable effective communications with Client, Sub - Contractors & Vendors
  • Be able to work as part of team as well as individually when required
