Role Summary
The Field Specialist – Upstream Chemicals is responsible for delivering onsite chemical services and supporting chemical application programs at customer locations. This role involves maintaining chemical inventories, managing application performance, and working closely with customers to support safe and efficient operations. The position requires strict adherence to established procedures, health and safety standards, and service quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all activities in full compliance with HSE policies, legal requirements, and company core values.
  • Deliver onsite chemical services, including monitoring, measuring, testing, and supervising chemical application programs.
  • Conduct technical evaluations and provide product selection recommendations when requested.
  • Manage assigned customer accounts by maintaining chemical application programs and inventory levels.
  • Review laboratory data and coordinate chemical supply and delivery to customer sites.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment at assigned onshore or offshore facilities within designated territories.
  • Provide technical support through scheduled and ad hoc site visits at customer facilities, both onshore and offshore, for upstream and downstream operations.
  • Prepare and submit accurate, timely, and professional service reports and required documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or people leader.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Petrochemistry, or a related field, with relevant oilfield experience.
  • Extensive experience in production chemical applications, laboratory analysis, or chemical field services.
  • Strong knowledge of oilfield and industrial chemical product lines, meeting relevant competency standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer account management.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills.
  • Strong technical and functional expertise with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
