Could you be the full-time System Engineering Manager in Tucheng, New Taipei City, Taiwan we’re looking for? This position is for Wanda Project.


Purpose of the Job: To lead the System Engineering team in the System Engineering design and submissions by collaborating and interfacing with all internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Participate in the development of System Specifications (Functional, Architecture, Interface).
  • Obtain Customer/Engineer acceptance of system specifications.
  • Organise, in liaison with the PREM, the engineering activities (priorities, schedule, delivery).
  • Report to the PREM the progress of System Engineering activities.
  • Manage the On-Shore System Engineering team in accordance with Project Engineering Manager’s (PREM) instructions.
  • Follow up the demonstration of compliance to the contractual requirements and their allocation to the subsystems, and obtain customer/Engineer’s approval.
  • Lead the verification and demonstration of system performances.
  • Support the PREM in the management of Engineering Work Packages.
  • Support the sub-systems in their technical discussion with the Customer/Engineer.
  • Implement the Methods and Engineering tools applicable to the project.
  • Participate in the technical risk management. Ensure that technical risks are adequately addressed in the system engineering studies.
  • Manage the interface definition matters.

Qualifications:


  • Educational : Electronic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree.
  • Knowledge of Railway System is mandatory.
  • 10 years of experience in Interface and System Engineering design experience in railway.
  • Project and/or construction experience preferred.
  • Geotechnical and/or structural calculation knowledge as well as track alignment knowledge will be a plus.
  • Good experience in team management.
  • Good communication in Mandarin & English.
  • Should be flexible with Night Shifts.
