The Ground Handling Apron Operations Supervisor oversees front‑line execution of apron activities, ensuring safe aircraft servicing and compliance with airside procedures. The role acts as the on‑ground control point for apron discipline, enforcing safety standards and coordinating personnel during aircraft movements.
Supervise aircraft servicing activities at assigned stands, ensuring compliance with apron rules, safety clearances, and operational timing.
Actively enforce airside safety controls, including FOD prevention, equipment positioning, and restricted zone compliance.
Direct ramp agents and equipment operators to ensure orderly and conflict‑free aircraft servicing.
Identify unsafe conditions or operational deviations and initiate immediate corrective action to protect aircraft and personnel.
Maintain continuous communication with the apron control centre and report incidents, delays, or safety concerns.
Ensure ground staff adhere to standard procedures, PPE requirements, and work authorisations.
Apron Safety Rules & SOPs
Strong working knowledge of apron safety procedures and aircraft stand operations.
Aircraft Movement Awareness
Understanding of aircraft ground movement patterns and danger zones.
Frontline Operational Leadership Ability to supervise and direct teams in fast‑paced environments.
Hazard Recognition Skill in identifying airside risks and unsafe behaviours.
Operational Communication Clear, disciplined communication under time pressure.
