Job description

We design Spotify’s consumer experience—end to end, moment to moment, across every screen, platform, and partner integration. Our mission is to make listening feel effortless, personal, and joyful for billions of users around the world. That means turning complexity into clarity across hundreds of touchpoints—from our mobile and desktop apps to the smart speakers, TVs, cars, and integrations where Spotify shows up every day. If it touches a consumer, we shape it. We bring deep insight into human behavior, design, and technology to craft experiences that feel intuitive, expressive, and unmistakably Spotify.

We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the playback experience across Spotify’s mobile apps. This is one of the most highly used parts of the product, where millions of users engage with music, podcasts, audiobooks, and video every day. You’ll shape how content, controls, and context come together to create seamless, personalized listening experiences in real time.

What You'll Do

  • Lead product strategy for Spotify’s playback experience, shaping how listening becomes more engaging, rewarding, and valuable for users, creators, and the business

  • Define and evolve the user experience and information architecture across playback surfaces

  • Partner closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality experiences

  • Drive innovation across content layers, playback modes, and contextual experiences

  • Translate complex technical systems into clear product direction and user value

  • Use data, experimentation, and user insights to inform decisions and continuously improve the experience

  • Align stakeholders across multiple product areas to ensure a cohesive and scalable ecosystem

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, owning scope, alignment, and delivery

Who You Are

  • You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally working on consumer-facing products

  • You’re experienced building for mobile platforms such as iOS and Android, including complex user interfaces

  • You understand how to build scalable systems and experiences that enable teams to move faster

  • You’re able to balance user experience, technical constraints, and business impact

  • You care deeply about creating intuitive, high-quality experiences at scale

  • You’ve worked closely with engineering, design, and data partners to bring products to life

  • You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and bringing clarity across teams

  • You’ve influenced stakeholders across functions and levels to drive alignment and outcome

Where You'll Be

  • This role is based in Stockholm or London.

  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.

  • This team operates within the Central European and GMT time zone for collaboration.
